🏏 Callington — Callington (186) beat St Just (93) by 93 runs
1️⃣ Callington took a significant step towards safety after defeating St Just at Moores Park. Graham Wagg starred with a superb 90 off just 88 balls, with his and Ben Ellis’ (60) knock of 120 for the eighth wicket rescuing the hosts after they slumped to 56-7.
2️⃣ Dominic Angove opened with 22 in St Just’s reply but no-one else could manage more than 13 as the visitors were skittled out for 93, with Harry Sawyers taking a five-wicket haul at a cost of 33 runs.

🏏 Helston — St Austell (127-6) beat Helston (126) by four wickets
1️⃣ Ross Leathley’s unbeaten 68 off 85 balls was not enough for Helston, who could only muster another 58 from elsewhere as they were bowled out for 128, with Liam Watson (3-21) and Gary Bone (3-27) taking three wickets apiece for third-placed St Austell.
2️⃣ Daniel Jarman posted an innings-high 49 in St Austell’s reply as Saints got over the line with four overs remaining.

🏏 Redruth — Penzance (70-4) beat Redruth (69) by six wickets
1️⃣ Penzance lost two points on title rivals Wadebridge despite their routine victory at Redruth, with Greg Smith (3-10) and Andrew Libby (3-22) taking three wickets apiece as Redruth collapsed to 69 all out.
2️⃣ Ben Seabrook top-scored with an unbeaten 29 off 69 balls in the reply as the reigning champions achieved victory in the 28th over.

🏏 Wadebridge — Wadebridge (225-5) beat Camborne (84) by 141 runs
1️⃣ Wadebridge are now two points clear at the summit after taking maximum points from their win at home to Camborne. Kevin Renecke (79) and Matthew Robins’ (49) opening knock of 111 got the hosts halfway to their total of 225-5, with Daniel Stephens taking 4-22 for the visitors.
2️⃣ Camborne struggled in their reply, with Steve Kevern posting an innings-high 16 as the west Cornwall outfit were skittled out for 84.

2️⃣ Tom Lyle top-scored with 23 off 57 balls in the reply as Werrington met their modest target in the 36th over.

County 1: Truro and Falmouth remain neck-and-neck in title tussle
🏏 Beacon — Beacon (166) beat Grampound Road (78) by 87 runs
1️⃣ Grampound Road’s relegation worries aren’t over just yet after they slipped to an 87-run loss at Beacon. Jack Thomas top-scored with a modest 36 as the hosts posted 166, with Alex Lean (3-18) and Nathan Keevil (3-43) taking three wickets each.
2️⃣ The Roadies struggled in the reply, though, with fifth batter Dave Hoskings’ 39 from 45 balls the best it got as the visitors slumped to 78 all out. Anna Squire (3-10), Ben James (3-16) and Darren Proctor (3-18) all recorded fine figures for the home side.

1️⃣ It remains neck-and-neck at the County 1 summit ahead of next week’s potential title decider between Truro and Falmouth, with the latter running out 29-run winners over Mullion. Richard Kellow hit 52 off 43 balls with Marco Van Biljon (51) also raising his bat as the hosts posted 202.
2️⃣ Jackson Edgar opened with 33 in Mullion’s reply but couldn’t prevent the visitors from slumping to 61-5. Jonty Wheatley (41) and Mathew Davies (33*) steadied the ship but the away side’s challenge ended with five overs to spare.

2️⃣ Ben Brooks carried the bat with an excellent unbeaten 93 in the reply, with Brooks and Will Trenoweth (55*) putting on an unbroken stand of 120 to clinch victory in the 46th over.

2️⃣ Matt Stevens (43) and Ryan Edwards (52*) put on 47 for the fifth wicket as the hosts coasted across the winning line in the 29th over.
