🏏 Camborne — St Just (41-2) beat Camborne (40) by eight wickets
1️⃣ Camborne’s Premier Division campaign could hardly have got off to a worse start, with Liam Weeks (13*) and Dan Stephens (11) the only members to reach double figures as they were skittled out for just 40, with Ben Stevens (4-19) and Michael Fitchett (4-10) doing most of the damage with the ball.
2️⃣ St Just required just 6.4 overs of their reply to get the job done, with Max Waller top-scoring with an unbeaten 18 as the visitors cruised to victory.
📊 Camborne 40 (L Weeks 13*; M Fitchett 4-10, B Stevens 4-19). St Just 41-2 (M Waller 18*; M Jenkin 1-15).
🏏 Hayle — Penzance (210) beat Hayle (97) by 113 runs
1️⃣ After being put in to bat, third batsman Ben Seabrook took control of Penzance’s innings with a fine 86 off 104 balls as the defending champions racked up 210, despite the best efforts of Tom Sharp, whose five-wicket haul came at the expense of 47 runs.
2️⃣ A slow start in Hayle’s reply looked to be rescued by fourth batsman Sharp’s bright and breezy 57 off 63 balls, but a lower-order collapse saw the home side’s challenge come to an end at just under 100.
📊 Penzance 210 (B Seabrook 86, G Smith 40; T Sharp 5-47, J Franklin 4-36). Hayle 97 (T Sharp 57; G Lawrence 3-17).
🏏 Helston — Helston (156-3) beat Callington (155) by seven wickets
1️⃣ After choosing to bat, Callington had Roelof Van Der Merwe (38) and Aidan Libby (34) to thank for salvaging an otherwise poor innings as the visitors posted a reasonable 155.
2️⃣ Looking to carry their high-scoring exploits into the top tier, newly-promoted Helston did just that with opener Dan Jenkin plundering 63 off 79 balls before Niran Wijewardene hit four sixes on his way to an unbeaten 42 as the hosts met their target in the 32nd over.
📊 Callington 155 (R Van Der Merwe 38, A Libby 34, J White 20; G Tregenza 3-30, S Jenkin 3-39). Helston 156-3 (D Jenkin 63, N Wijewardene 42*, R Leathley 37; B Ellis 2-31).
🏏 St Austell — St Austell (105-2) beat Werrington (104) by eight wickets
1️⃣ A Gary Bone-inspired St Austell looked to be sending Werrington towards a nightmare total with the Saints skipper taking a sensational 6-14, before visiting skipper Nick Lawson, batting at eight, posted a much-needed 32 to help his side towards triple figures.
2️⃣ St Austell opener Curtis Dalby carried the bat in the reply with an attritional 39 off 102 balls as the home side meandered steadily towards their target, which they met in the 33rd over.
📊 Werrington 104 (N Lawson 32; G Bone 6-14). St Austell 105-2 (C Dalby 39*, A Bone 25*; B Smeeth 1-19).
🏏 Wadebridge — Wadebridge (77-5) beat Redruth (76) by five wickets
1️⃣ It was an innings to forget for Redruth with Toby Whiteford’s near run-a-ball 28 as good as it got, with Callum Wilson taking a five-wicket haul for the loss of 23 runs as Wadebridge dismissed their opponents for 73.
2️⃣ Kevin Renecke (22) and Matt Butler (26) got most of the job done by themselves in Wadebridge’s reply as they put on a modest 49 for the first wicket, with victory being achieved after 23 overs despite the minor scare of losing Matt Robins and Charlie McLachlan for ducks.

County 1: Newquay and Beacon endure batting horror shows
🏏 Mullion — Mullion (228-6) beat Lanhydrock (164) by 64 runs
1️⃣ After choosing to bat first, Mullion opener Ryan Pascoe starred with an impressive 81 off 104 balls — with his pyrotechnics including eight boundaries — as the hosts recorded an imposing 228.
2️⃣ Despite the solid efforts of Viraj Hadkar (58), Luke Buckland (34) and Jamie Eldridge (33), there was little support in the lower order as Lanhdyrock were dismissed for 164.
📊 Mullion 228-6 (R Pascoe 81, R Tonkin 25, M Turner 21*; V Hadkar 2-48). Lanhydrock 164 (V Hadkar 58, L Buckland 34, J Eldridge 33; R Pascoe 3-16).
🏏 Newquay — Truro (33-2) beat Newquay (31) by eight wickets
1️⃣ Fewer than 25 overs were played in the whole of this match after a horror show of a batting innings for Newquay, with Adam Cocking top-scoring with just seven as they were skittled out for 31 — 15 of which were extras. Robert Harrison took 5-15 for Truro, with seven of Newquay’s 11 batsmen failing to score a single run.
2️⃣ As second innings go, this was not a particularly tense one with Jaco Van Greunen’s unbeaten 13 the top score as Truro met their modest target in the ninth over.

🏏 Paul — Paul (82) beat Beacon (40) by 42 runs
1️⃣ Paul would have been forgiven for thinking they weren’t going to win this match after an opening innings that yielded just 82 runs. Prolific bowler Jordan Thomas was at it again with five wickets for the loss of just 18 runs, with Matt Skewes top-scoring for the hosts with 30.
2️⃣ Facing a fairly friendly target, Beacon fell apart spectacularly in their reply with Thomas (10) the only man to register double figures as they were skittled out for just 40. Charlie Treloar led the attack nicely with four wickets for the loss of 20 runs.

🏏 Penzance — Penzance 2 (182-2) beat Roche Old Boys (181-9) by eight wickets
1️⃣ This refreshingly high-scoring encounter saw Roche rack up 181 despite the efforts of Glyn Furnival, who took five wickets for the loss of 24 runs. Daniel Robotham top-scored for the visitors with 57 off 100 balls.
2️⃣ Jack Paull (68*) and Kian Burns (85*) showed their Premier Division class in the reply, with the pair putting on an unbroken third-wicket stand of 138 to see the hosts home with relative comfort.

🏏 Redruth — Falmouth (236-9) beat Redruth 2 (103) by 133 runs
1️⃣ Sixth batsman Harry Cobb top-scored with 54 with Antony Angove supporting with 36 as Falmouth recorded a very handy 236 in the first innings.
2️⃣ The hosts’ reply was all about one man as bowler Perran Burley took a sensational seven wickets for the loss of 30 runs to guide his side to a handsome victory, with Redruth’s innings ending in the 31st over.

🏏 St Erme — St Erme (212-9) beat Grampound Road (93) by 119 runs
1️⃣ After being put in to bat, St Erme’s Babar Ali produced a match-high 49 off just 36 balls as the hosts posted an impressive 212. Kyle Van Rooyen opened with a useful 39, while David Neville took four wickets for the Roadies.
2️⃣ Van Rooyen turned his talents to the ball in Grampound’s reply, taking five wickets for the loss of 19 runs as the visitors were skittled out for 93, with Tom Orpe (35) and Dave Hoskings (27) the only men to get into double figures.

Division 2 East: St Blazey win by one run to remain at summit
🏏 Bude — Tintagel (117-2) beat Bude (114) by eight wickets
1️⃣ Ryan Pooley took four wickets for Tintagel as hosts Bude were restricted to 114, with Wayne Adams (39) and Andrew De Rosa (28*) the only batsmen to get into double figures.
2️⃣ Tom Parsons (41) and Matt Jolliffe (37*) did much of the heavy lifting in the reply as Tintagel achieved victory in the 24th over.
🏏 Callington — Callington 2 (267-4) beat Menheniot/Looe (52) by 215 runs
1️⃣ After choosing to bat first, Callington set about producing one of the more comprehensive victories of the weekend. Chris Simpson lit the blue touchpaper with an unbeaten 82 off just 60 balls, including four sixes, with openers Tom Neville and Toby May having also weighed in with 49 and 41 respectively to give the hosts a commanding lead.
2️⃣ Hopes of a swashbuckling, heavy-scoring reply did not last very long for Menheniot/Looe as a bad start only managed to get worse. Hugh Rogers top-scored with just 13 as David Bolland (5-28) and Ben Alford (3-20) ripped through the visitors’ batting order in just 15.4 overs.
🏏 Holsworthy — St Austell 2 (234) beat Holsworthy (227-6) by seven runs
1️⃣ Qasim Jamal top-scored with 75 and Nicholas Matthews supported with 64 as St Austell racked up a commanding 234, with Jack Greening taking 4-26 for the Devon outfit.
2️⃣ But Holsworthy came roaring back in the reply with Greening (47) and Herschelle Poggenpoel (49) leading the way as the hosts closed in on St Austell’s total, only to come up six runs shy at the end of their innings. James Carter took four wickets for Saints.
🏏 Luckett — Wadebridge 2 (124-5) beat Luckett (121) by five wickets
1️⃣ Tom Clarke was the star with the ball in Wadebridge’s innings, taking a sublime six wickets for the loss of just 17 runs as Luckett were dismissed for 121. Marc Brown top-scored with 34 for the home side.
2️⃣ Despite a woeful start that saw them slip to 23-5, Wadebridge soon got their act together thanks to Tom Wood (67*) and Robert Centini (23*), whose unbroken stand of 101 saw the visitors over the line with eight balls remaining.
🏏 St Blazey — St Blazey (190-8) beat St Minver (189) by one run
1️⃣ St Blazey had their middle order to thank after they were put in to bat first, with Paul Carne’s 43, Nithin Gowda’s 39 and Martin Porthouse’s 33 seeing the home side towards a useful 190.
2️⃣ A Keron Persaud-led St Minver were equal to the task in their reply, with the fifth batsman hitting 68 off 63 balls to take his side within one run of their hosts before being caught by Steve Gilks as Blazey rescued victory by the barest of all margins.
🏏 Werrington — Werrington 2 (287-7) beat South Petherwin (250) by 37 runs
1️⃣ A high-scoring affair in east Cornwall saw Tom Lyle plunder an excellent 90 for the hosts before his furniture was disturbed by Billy Martin (2-51). Mark Hodgson and George Rickard supported with 52 apiece as Werrington posted an imposing 287.
2️⃣ Things looked good for South Petherwin in their reply when opener Mike Bolt plundered 66, but his team-mates struggled to match his haul as James Adams (5-44) ripped through the lower order, with the visitors’ challenge ending after 44 overs.
Division 2 West: Camborne and Hayle tied at the top after both sides win
🏏 Mount Ambrose — Veryan (212-8) beat Mount Ambrose (172-9) by 40 runs
1️⃣ An opening stand of 78 from Andrew Pearce (62) and Matthew Tregunna (31) got the visitors well on their way to a fine tally of 212, with Vish Mohan taking 4-48 for Mount Ambrose.
2️⃣ Pete Edwards (33) and Simon Blackburn (47) combined to put on 91 for the fourth wicket as Mount Ambrose recorded a reasonable score, but Matt Dixon took four wickets as Veryan restricted their hosts to 172 from their allocation.
🏏 Mount Hawke & Porthtowan — Mount Hawke & Porthtowan (122-6) beat Stithians (121) by four wickets
1️⃣ Ryan Chitty led the hosts’ attack superbly, taking five wickets for the loss of just nine runs as Stithians, for whom Callum Martin top-scored with 31, were dismissed for 121.
2️⃣ Chitty (28) and Ryan Thomas (24) began Mount Hawke & Porthtowan’s reply with a useful opening stand, with Lloyd Brock bringing the hosts home after 29 overs with an unbeaten 28.
🏏 Perranporth — Camborne 2 (223-7) beat Perranporth (174) by 49 runs
1️⃣ The middle-order duo of Jordan Harvey (47) and Martin Woolcock (36) led Camborne towards a handy 223 in the first innings, with Jeremy Bradley taking 3-47 for Perranporth.
2️⃣ James Hall top-scored with 36 off 57 balls in the home side’s reply, with Harvey taking 3-26 as Perranporth were dismissed for 174 in the penultimate over.
🏏 St Ives — Hayle (263-8) beat St Ives (259-8) by two wickets
1️⃣ St Ives set the standard in a high-scoring encounter, with George Day (41), Conner Jelbert (37) and Sam McKenna (35) all among the runs as the home side posted an imposing 259.
2️⃣ Jesse Anderson top-scored with an unbeaten run-a-ball 58 as Hayle did the unlikely and met their demanding target with just two balls to spare.
🏏 St Just — Ludgvan (175-2) beat St Just 2 (174-7) by eight wickets
1️⃣ Tom Edwards posted a top score of 62 as St Just recorded 174 in their opening innings. Jamie Semmens supported with 40, with Jacob Kitchen taking 3-23.
2️⃣ Scott Stevens top-scored with 67 off 95 balls in the away side’s response while Dave Legge posted an unbeaten 63 as Ludgvan crossed the winning line in the 39th over.
🏏 Truro — Truro 2 (70) beat Helston (62) by eight runs
1️⃣ It was certainly a day for the bowlers in Truro, with Joe Burton top-scoring with just 14 for the home side as they were skittled out for only 70, with Steve Eddy and William Eva taking 3-10 and 3-13 respectively.
2️⃣ However, Billy Channel took four wickets for the loss of 17 runs in Helston’s reply, with only Lewis Stephens (19) and Adam Rowling (17*) able to muster double figures on their way to being dismissed for 62.
